FreeArtificial intelligence
AI, explored
Modern AI from the ground up, in short scenes you watch, play, predict and decide.

About this course
Start with the AI already around you and work your way to neural networks, search, language models, agents and reinforcement learning, then to fairness, real limits and what comes next.
Every scene asks you to do something: move a slider and watch a model change, lock in a prediction before the reveal, sort, build or decide. Each station ends by collecting what you showed you understood.
What you’ll do
- Train a tiny neural network in your browser and watch its boundary bend
- Step through search algorithms, then build a maze that traps one
- Spot the giveaways in a real photo and AI-generated images
- Move a threshold and see precision and recall trade places

Preview

A scene from Station 5: a loss curve where a learning rate of 0.7 has carried the ball over a hill into the deepest valley.
A scene from Station 6: a grid maze where greedy search has run into a wall.
A scene from Station 13: a real robin photograph next to an AI-generated robin, with the answers revealed.
A scene from Station 4: a spam-filter threshold slider with precision, recall and accuracy readouts.
